The May issue of Columbia is in the mail.

Be sure you read the articles about our insurance programs. Fr. Michael J.
McGivney was the very first insured member of the Order. Most of our
priests in District 35 are insured members of the Order. Why do you think
priests believe so strongly in our programs? They have expressed the
following reasons to me:
  I want to be sure that my family does not experience any financial
  burden when I pass away.
  I want a secure financial retirement.
  I admire the commitment of the Order to Catholic Principles.
  I don't want to be concerned about the safety and security of my
  investments.
  I want to leave something to my parish, the seminary where I studied, or
  a mission that I believe in very strongly.


Elections of officers

During May the nominating of officers for the new Fraternal Year will begin
and during June we will elect our future leaders. Never in our lifetime has
Holy Mother Church and our priests needed the support of the Knights of
Columbus more. Be sure to attend the business meetings in May and June.
Support strong candidates and offer your support to them in the new year.
