Fraternal Agent's

Article

Life Expectancy grows longer and longer; according to FASTSTATS these are
the latest projections:

Men Women
At birth 75.2 80.4
At age 65 82.2 85.0
At age 75 85.8 87.8

There are several reasons to reflect upon these figures:
What do you anticipate your life expectancy to be?
The same question for your spouse.
How many more years will she live after I pass on? 3,5, 7, 10 or more?

Why is this information important regarding my Life Insurance coverage?
Term Insurance at work generally ends with retirement.
Many employers are dropping coverage for retirees or shifting the
premium cost to them.
20 year term policies generally end by age 70.
Premiums for Term to Age 95 become unaffordable in later years.
LESS THAN 2% of Term policies ever pay a Death Benefit.
Universal and Variable Policies generally begin to lose Cash Value by
age 70 and become unaffordable thereafter for those living on fixed
income.

What should I do to protect my spouse and family against final expenses,
liquidation of estate costs, estate equalization issues....? Consider Whole
Life Insurance with the Knights of Columbus:
Rates are competitive
Whole Life policies are participating and pay dividends; paid $318
million in dividends last year alone
Policies can be paid up by retirement age
35 consecutive years of A++ rating by A.M. Best attest to the safety and
security.
