Brother Knights,
November is the month we remember our deceased loved ones and Brother
Knights who have departed for their Eternal Rewards. Just a week ago we
laid Msgr. John Scully to rest following six decades of service to Holy
Mother Church. He is an example to us of how to Proclaim the Gospel. In the
eulogy, Fr. Bill Swengros mentioned that our dearly departed Brother left a
legacy to St. Stephen Parish for the new church building. What incredible
generosity!
What about you? Have you thought of Charitable Gifting? What about a life
insurance policy that leaves something for the Church or School?
A generous parishioner left the bequeathed the land for the school to the
parish. Have you thought whether a part of your estate should be donated as
a legacy?
